For those of you who are just getting to know me now: hello & welcome! To old friends, it's good to see you again.
It's been over half a year since I set a blogging and social media schedule for myself ... and a lot can change in half a year. As such, it's time to refresh that schedule, and give you all a fresh look at what I do in the process!
My Current Projects
From The Desk of Buster Heywood: Complete! I'm starting to do signings & other promotions.
In The Cards: The 2nd novel of Aviario is in the beta-reader and 2nd edit phase!
The Proper Bearing: Work-in-progress, at about 66% completion. I'm hoping to finish it this July.
The Author's Oracle: Non-fiction tarot book for writers - ON HOLD until The Proper Bearing is done.
Monday: I post the optional theme for #2bitTues between 8-9 AM EST for those who like to choose and schedule their tweets in advance. I also make the rounds on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+.
Tuesday: I spend most of Tuesday on Twitter because it's 2-Bit Tuesday! This is a sharing exercise similar to #1lineWed with one big difference: the weekly theme is completely optional. Writers are encouraged to share lines from their WIP (work-in-progress), as long as there are no promotional links in their tweets. My little weekly tradition has grown into a community of supportive authors that I'm proud to be part of. Come and join us: even if you aren't an author, you might discover a new favorite!
Wednesday: This is now Between The Lines Day, where I post here in my blog!
Thursday: Another Twitter day, where I join #Thurds, hosted by my good friend A.B. Funkhauser. Thurds is for sharing lines from published works, so that indie authors can spread the word about their books! Check me out on these days to get a glimpse at From The Desk of Buster Heywood.
Friday: I send out my newsletter, Friday At Charlie's, to its subscribers. Please join us and become a Friend of Aviario by signing up here! You'll get more details about what I've been up to, and the first look at exciting news... as well as excerpts, artwork, and short stories I don't post anywhere else!
